So, since my obsessions rotate between makeup and bb themes, I have to allow myself an outlet for my makeup!

I know a lot of ppl have asked me how I do my eye makeup and I gather all sorts of information from all sorts of sources so I might as well share the wealth of info I have, right?

I'm SO not a video vixen, and I don't like watching video tutorials either. I know, old school, but unfortunately most of the time I'm near a computer I dont want anyone to hear or see me watching videos on how to apply makeup anyway..

Guess I'll should start off with some of my fave pics and eye combinations.. I dont know how ppl manage to take super fantastic pics of their eye makeup but I'm gonna have to figure it out.

I almost want to put some of the old school pics so we can see the transformation as I learned what I was doing!

Love the gray, but I see I laid it on a little thick, with very little color gradient from inner to outer corner. But hey, at least my lines were straight!

The LOOK: I know this combo started with MAC shade stick in Beige-ing, because thats how I always started all my colors, it was the best base I had that would pop those MAC shadows. The cream stick is awesome because it allows you to use the pen to pretty much direct where you want to go. I apply lightly from my lashline and up to the crease, and usually blend the upper crease area with my finger so I dont end up with a visible line.

The inner eye area was washed with a MAC 252 brush with a bright silver I got at home but whose name I gotta dig up. I tend to not use the 252 brush too much anymore since it lays the color on really thick and makes it harder for me to blend. The trick is truly all in the technique. You can have all the tools in the world but you have to know how to use them correctly!

MAC knight divine, and then MAC club in the outer corners.
MAC Phloof as a highlight under the browbone.

Hard to say much more without remembering what I used, but hey it's a jumping off point!

Alrighty moving on. Here's my makeup when I wore my little Eskimo costume for Halloween. I don't do browns much, but this one didnt turn out too bad.

First off, my lashies are falsie strips, which were workin bombtastic before I started getting extensions applied.

My nail place actually does eyelash extensions for $80 for the first application and then $35 for a "fill" which is about once every 3 wks or so.

MAC phloof as a highlight and up to my browbone
Stila Kitten (which is super pigmented and sparkly, and I typically stay away from now)
MAC tempting in the outer corners along lashline
